Can anyone tell me some songs that were popular in the Dominican Republic around 2004-2005?

I know this is very vague, but I went on a volunteer trip to San Pedro de Macor�s six years ago, and I bought a couple of CDs there. I remember really loving all of the music (merengue, bachata, etc.) but I can't remember the names of ANY of the songs. Can anyone help me out with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
